Consulting Program Cost, schedule and Control Analyst
Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS), develops and produces mission solutions for networking, command and control, battlespace awareness, homeland security and air traffic management. Programs include civilian applications, command and control systems, integrated communications systems, and netted sensor systems.
NCS is driving transformation in the Information Age by leading Raytheon's Net Centric Operations Enterprise Priority. This effort unites the core strengths of the company to provide networked systems, net-enabled systems, and net-centric integration to customers worldwide for emerging requirements.
This position may be located in either McKinney, TX, or Marlborough, MA
This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic business area with the potential to drive successful set up and execution of production/manufacturing programs from proposal development to contract closure across NCS. As part of the Business Process Management team this position will be responsible for successful deployment of the Production Earned Value (PEV) toolset across all manufacturing sites within NCS, coordinating and working closely with the Corporate PEV Project, Business Process Management and Earned Value Management personnel, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Leadership and Finance for Production Programs. Individual will be responsible for providing EVMS guidance to production programs and will analyze, identify and establish best approach for programs setup and deployment of NCS PEV tools and processes. Individual will work closely with multifunctional and cross business teams including partnering with EVM Managers, the NCS EVMS Tiers 3 and 4 teams, the NCS SAP Sustaining team, and the Raytheon SAP Competency Center team. Individual will be an on site participating member of the Corporate PEV Project in Tucson. Individual will lead a phased roll out approach for both interim and the Corporate PEV solutions across all NCS sites. Individual will analyze NCS PEV Program data and data trends utilizing PEV Tools and processes, and will participate in NCS Production Program PMRs and Corporate PEV Reviews as required. Individual will conduct PEV process and tool training classes and workshops, and follow-up Assessment and Surveillance. This position will define and drive PEV tool improvement initiatives, as well as coordinate and report status and metrics on the PEV tools' usage and projects.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Minimum 8 years directly related work experience
Program Office or Functional Experience
Systems Applications & Products (SAP) knowledge and experience
MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) knowledge and experience
PRISM (Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing - Raytheon SAP - Ops/Mfg Instance) knowledge and experience
Practical experience in applications of EVMS, Cost and Schedule Integration
Must be independent and self-motivated
Be able to meet critical deadlines
Be proactive, creative, and possess problem identification, problem solving and decision making skills.
Have strong analytical skills,
Must be a team player with the ability to identify problems and develop corrective actions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must have good presentation, communication, and training skills
Must have good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities
Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
Desired Skills:
Highly proficient in R6 sigma or equivalent tools and techniques
Knowledge of MSProject, IPM/MPM, SAP R3, BW, MRP/PRISM, PC Pricing, win sight
Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
APEX (Achieving Process Excellence - Raytheon SAP - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Finance Instance knowledge and experience
Required Education (including Major): (Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems and 8+ years related experience)
