Requirements: All applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older and hold a valid US drivers license for at least 1 year.
Education and/or training equivalent to a bachelor's degree in mental health, social services, or business required. Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) preferred. Two year's experience working with people who have psychiatric disabilities, providing community-based services and knowledge of the opportunities and resources within the community required. Valid Massachusetts drivers' license required. Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients. Preference given to bi-lingual/bi-cultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.
Job Description: Work as a member of the Collaborative Action for Recovery (CAR) team to provide community-based rehabilitation, support and supervision to Community-Based Flexible Support (CBFS) service clients. The Benefits Coordinator provides clients and other CAR team members with information and expertise about to find and obtain the full range of benefits and entitlements available, given their individual circumstances. Provide outreach services to CBFS clients, implementing clients' Individual Action Plans (IAP).
Schedule: The anticipated work schedule for this position will be a rotating schedule of 2 days from 8am - 8pm and 2 days 10am - 6pm.
